This weekend is the 1st Annual State Advisor Challenge - the Gulf to Ocean
Brevet! My family and I have been getting the supplies organized and we
will be leaving the house about 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning so I can hit the road
at sunrise about 7:00 a.m. in Horseshoe Beach. I have been very humbled by
the amount of pledges that have come in to support this ride. My goal was
to raise at least $250.00 for the HOSA National Service Project (Autism Speaks)
with this ride. However, I have been awestruck by the kindness and
generosity of my co-workers, the Suwannee River AHEC Board members and business
partners, and our ever caring and compassionate HOSA members. Together
they have pledged $900.00 as of this posting!!
