Florida HOSA has over 8,500 members in our State Association, and our membership is growing!  Florida now has the second largest membership in the Nation, behind Texas.  Nationally, HOSA boasts more than 87,000 members.  As health care grows and becomes more in demand, so does HOSA membership.   Don't miss an opportunity to be a part of the HOSA family!

How do you become a member of this outstanding student organization which will not only make you a better person, but also improve your quality of life?   Well, it is quite simple.

m Ask your Health Science Instructor for information.

m If you are a Health Science Instructor and would like for your students to
join, contact the State Office at (386) 462-HOSA, or
e-mail the State Advisor

and a welcome packet will be sent to you.

In order be eligible to participate in any HOSA activity, and to use the HOSA name and emblem, each HOSA member must be a member at the local, state, and national levels.

 m Florida HOSA State Dues = $10.00
 m National Dues = $10.00 (Career Health Division = $1.00)
 m Total for all members = $20.00 (Career Health Division = $11.00)

Local and Regional dues are determined by each chapter and region.

Membership affiliation packets are mailed from National HOSA in September.  If you do not receive your membership packet by September 30, call National HOSA at 1-800-321-HOSA.

m Affiliation is done on-line through the National HOSA website.  Please click
        here
to get started.

m Send one check which includes both the State Dues and National Dues to:
National HOSA, 6021 Morriss Road, Suite 111, Flower Mound, TX 75028.
Please make the check payable to "National HOSA."

m The chapter advisor must be included as a professional member.

m The Florida HOSA dues deadline for initial membership is December 15.
Supplemental memberships may be added at any time without paying a late
fee.  If you are planning to participate in the Leadership Development
Conference which takes place in November, you must be affiliated at that
        time.

m HOSA chapters that submit their paid affiliation fee by October 15 are
recognized as part of the HOSA 100 Club in The HOSA On-line E-Magazine
and will receive a HOSA 100 Club certificate.
