Varsha Katoju, MD Candidate (UChicago ’29) serves as the Chairperson of the Florida HOSA Alumni and Professional Association (FHAPA), leading initiatives that connect and empower healthcare students and alumni across the state.  A proud Florida HOSA alumna, Varsha formerly held the position of Florida HOSA State President, bringing firsthand leadership experience and passion to her current role on FHAPA’s board.  As Chairperson, she oversees strategic programming, alumni engagement, and coordination efforts alongside fellow board members to facilitate mentorship, events, and professional development for HOSA members and alumni.

As a first-year medical student at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, she continues to build on her foundation in healthcare and neuroscience.  Her journey from state-level student leadership to alumni advocacy reflects a deep commitment to shaping the future of healthcare education and supporting emerging leaders.
