Advisors – Please read the below important information/updates for SLC 2026 before proceeding:

• There will be NO on-site registrations; all registrations must be completed by 11:59pm EST on March 6^th in the HOSA CMS.
• All student members attending the SLC MUST have an assignment/function (be in a competitive event, be a Courtesy Corps member or Voting Delegate, or be a State Officer Candidate); the Leadership Academy does not qualify as an assignment/function and is only offered to members registered for one of the above assignments/functions. 
• It is Florida HOSA, Inc.’s policy that ALL HOSA members attending SLC MUST be accompanied by their chapter advisor (and/or school-approved chaperone) and stay at the approved conference hotel (the Marriott Orlando World Center) for the duration of the conference (beginning Thursday, April 16^th at 5pm through Sunday, April 19^th).  Florida HOSA does not approve or sanction a person missing any part of the conference.
• Please take note that digital pre-conference uploads for regular competitive events WILL NOT BE USED to submit designated items for the SLC this year.  Please be sure you and your competitors review the specific event guideline, the Important Deadlines document, and read the items below for more SLC information.
• NEW THIS YEAR – For Barbara James Service Award and Health Literacy Ambassador Events ONLY: Any members registered solely for the Barbara James Service Award and/or the Health Literacy Ambassador recognition event(s) MUST meet the minimum requirements for recognition, or they will not be permitted to attend SLC. ALL hours must be entered into HATS, and approved by the chapter advisor, by February 20^th at 11:59pm EST.  If the minimum requirements are not met by the deadline of February 20^th, and the member’s name is in the registration system after it automatically closes on March 6^th, your member will not be permitted to attend SLC, and no refund will be issued for their registration.
• THIS YEAR ONLY – HOSA History Exam: Any eligible competitor attending SLC (meaning that they have advanced from regionals to states in their competitive event or have met the minimum requirements for a recognition event) can take the HOSA History Exam in addition to their competitive event or recognition event.  Any registered Courtesy Corps, Voting Delegates, or State Officer Candidates who are not competing may also take the HOSA History Exam.  Additionally, each chapter can bring up to 5% of their previous year’s (2024-2025) affiliation total to SLC to compete in the HOSA History Exam without having another assignment/function (competitive event, recognition event, Courtesy Corps, Voting Delegate, or State Officer Candidate).  Example: If your chapter had 80 affiliated members last year, you can bring 4 extra members to solely take the HOSA History Exam (80 x 5% = 4) at this year’s SLC.
• The registration fee does NOT include meals.

SLC 2026 will convene at the Marriott Orlando World Center April 16^th – 19^th.  We are anticipating about 4,000 members attending to take part in exciting General Sessions, rigorous competitive events, and interactive leadership workshops!  Below, please find very important information regarding our SLC.  Advisors, please read the SLC Information & Instructions document, as well as the Online Registration Instructions, as both documents offer more thorough information about participating in and registering for the SLC.  Also, be sure to review the Important Deadlines document, as the deadline to register for the conference is March 6^th, in addition to reviewing all of the other files.  Start making plans now to attend the highlight of the Florida HOSA year – our 48^th Annual State Leadership Conference!

Exhibitors: From 9am – 4pm on Friday, April 17^th, we will have our Expo and Career Fair at the Florida HOSA SLC.  During this time, our advisors and members will be able to meet with Florida HOSA’s expo participants from the Healthcare Industry, Publishers, Colleges and more.  If you are interested in reserving a space, please download the Sponsorship Levels and Policy, as well as the Expo Sponsorship Registration Form, and e-mail the completed form to Mandy Memolo (mmemolo@flhosa.org) by Monday, February 16^th.
